Electric bike
EXPERIENCE

Electric Motorcycles (EM’s) have come a long way in the last few years.

We have seen them racing in moto-E, Overlanding with Charley Boorman and Ewen McGregor in “The Long Way Up” and every Motorcycle publication and youtube channel is full of reviews and introductions to the latest model.

Well, here is your chance to try one.

From July 2023 Onwards we will be offering the chance to rent one from us to use for part, or all of your tour.

Leave the range anxiety and planning to us and enjoy a premium EM on tried and tested routes that will include charging points, backup charging points, relevant stops and activities and will not compromise on the thrill of the ride or the scenery.

ADVENTURE Highlights

Overview

This is a new project that has been under consideration for two years. We believe that there are now Electric Motorcycles (EM’S) that are, with careful planning and realistic expectations, capable of touring.

It will be a while before they are able to offer 500 mile/800km days but as a tool to ride around on a motorcycle based holiday they are great fun, easy to ride, super smooth and offer Tesla -like acceleration. They are also relaxing to ride on mountain roads due to the lack of gear changes, instant torque and the option of choosing the amount of regenerative braking.

We will provide you with extensively tested routes that will take in the best roads, the best scenery, the best stops whilst we take care of the details. You can expect to cover around 250 km per day as well as partaking in visits and activities tailored to your requirements.

A great option is to combine the hire of an EM in conjunction with our “bike and hike” tours. Due to the reduced daily distances covered, an EM can fit in easily with the ICE bikes. Depending on availability this can be arranged for anything from one day through to the 10 days of the tour.
