There is something very special about Nordkapp.
Nordkapp offers a unique combination of natural wonders, geographic features, and a sense of adventure that makes it a compelling destination for travelers seeking an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re drawn by the Arctic’s extremes, the beauty of the landscapes, or the opportunity to witness natural phenomena, Nordkapp has something to offer everyone.
Possibly the most special element of a trip to Nordkapp is that “end of the earth” feeling. Combine this with midnight sun and it is almost otherworldly.
It is a true once in a lifetime experience.
We have created this particular tour to see as much as possible within a challenging, but realistic timeframe.
You will experience some of the most spectacular roads in the world. You will cross bridges, ride ferry’s, pass through tunnels and become a true hairpin master. You will travel through Holland, Germany, Denmark, Finland and Sweden as well seeing the best of Norway! Night stops and lunches will be in a variety of towns and city’s including Copenhagen, Stockholm, Bergen and many beautiful towns that you have not yet heard of.
Fancy a change of scenery? It doesn’t get much more different than this!
There is just so much to see. Breathtaking fjords, Incredible bridges, beautiful gorges, mountain ranges and of course Nordkapp. We have put this tour together to give you the most exciting routes to visit the best places. Sadly we cannot cover all of Norway in just one tour but we have endeavored to give you a real taste of all that Norway has to offer. The best thing is that the roads that join the dots together are truly spectacular.
This is a tour for experienced riders as it will cover approximately 7500KM/4700 miles. Some days will be around 4-5 hours of riding and will include a little time to look around some of Northern Europe’s most important cities such as Stockholm and Copenhagen whereas other days will be up to 8 hours long, often including ferry rides. The distances are not particularly long per day but the speed limits are low and speeding fines are huge. This is definitely a marathon, not a sprint.
The roads can be very technical. We will, of course, ride the famous Trollstiegen but roads such as the Lysevegen/Lysebotn road can be a real challenge with its 27 hairpin bends, it basically negotiates a 900m cliff!
The weather in Norway can be very changeable. You have to expect some rain (as a minimum) and the temperatures, although mild by arctic standards, will drop significantly as we venture North.
You will get to enjoy great hospitality, to savor the local food and to complete a very special journey to the Northernmost point of Europe that can be accessed by road.
We cannot guarantee that the sun will shine every day but we can guarantee daylight, plenty of it. This will help on some of the longer days as there is no need to rush the ride to get to the hotel before sunset!
You will get to see first hand the evidence of the true Viking heritage in the architecture, food, hospitality and the folklore.
All in all, this is a very special trip. Norway will give you a warm Viking welcome and its unique character will leave a lasting impression.
We have decided to limit the number of bikes to between 6 and 8. We feel that this is the ideal number of guests to give the best options for hotels and other accommodation, restaurants and to be able to offer the highest levels of support.
You will be led by a further motorcycle to help with Navigation and to keep the pace sensible. Speeding fines can be hundreds, even thousands of £ so are best avoided.
A support vehicle will act as sweeper and carry all of the required equipment and any baggage that you do not want to carry on the bike that day.
Routes will be provided in paper form and electronically and will include all stops, accommodation restaurants etc as well as contact details. Should you choose to ride at your own pace or to take a detour that is always an option but riding as a small group is generally encouraged.
As with all of our tours, we will have a local expert on hand as part of the team.

Road legal Motorcycle with suitable tyres. Due to the distance to be covered (approx 7500km) we recommend that you start the trip with brand new tyres. We will carry some spares but cannot guarantee to cover all options. There will be options along the route to get new tyres fitted but prior appointment will be needed. We can help with this.
Touring or Sports touring tyres are recommended due to their long life and ability to operate in cool, wet conditions as may be experienced in the arctic circle.
As per the tyres, clothing should be able to cope with a range of temperatures and be fully waterproof. Heated clothing is a great option.
We hope to be able to offer a good discount on heated clothing in conjunction with a major manufacturer. Watch this space..
Feel free to contact us with any tyre or clothing suitability questions.
Accommodation will be in good hotels. They will generally be to a 4 star standard. In more remote locations we have chosen the best options available. On occasion this may mean the use of holiday cottages or similar rather than hotels. They are carefully chosen to offer excellent levels of cleanliness and comfort. Location, views and facilities have also been taken into account.
The price structure has different options for shared or private rooms.
We will meet at Harwich Ferry Port and from there we look after all of the travel until you arrive back at Harwich. This includes all internal Ferry trips and toll bridges/tunnels.
Food will be supplied when camping, as will snacks and drinks whilst on the trails. Evening meals and breakfasts will depend upon the specific accommodation used and this will be confirmed when the tours are released in February.
